Green Pune
I have taken up an activity of tree plantation in and around Pune city. The goal is to have 100 trees planted by the end of June, 500 by the end of July and 1000 by the end of Aug.
There are so many challenges I have to work on.
a. Finding out the land/place for tree plantation.
b. Getting permission from corporation.
c. Raising money
d. Getting help from people (Human Resources)
e. And so on :)
I am geared up and hence writing down. So that, I can ask myself, at the end of the month, “How much I have achieved!”

Hi Joshi,
This is Hari your old time buddy. Hope you remember me (:-. Well great initiative to start. People like us should come forward otherwise the whole world would be a rotten place to live. We will live but just imagine the state of life with no tress, no rain or heavy floods which our generations would be put through if we don't take a step forward. Wish I could join but am currently in Madras. I will make sure I would start something like this in the place I live.
